Ardac Elites Imaging TechnologyThe revolutionary Ardac Elite bill and ticket acceptor looks set to cause a stir on the Money Controls booth (116) at this month’s National Indian Gaming show in San Diego. Operators will be especially interested in its Server Based Gaming (SBG) capabilities, a result of unique image capture and data processing technology.
Ardac Elite takes a full-color, whole image of every bill and barcode ticket inserted, yielding 200,000 data points. It’s no wonder it delivers first-time acceptance rates of over 97% for both tickets and street-grade bills. And it’s this technology that ensures Ardac Elite detects all known frauds, even some of the most difficult US ‘superfrauds’.
Looking at the increasing popularity of TITO operations, just one SBG application of Ardac Elite technology is sending a scanned image of barcoded tickets to the server for data storage of every ticket validated, creating the ability to archive the images.
A new option, 4-way barcode reading, also enhances the TITO appeal of Ardac Elite. With this new option, customers are no longer frustrated by tickets being rejected — whichever way a ticket is inserted Ardac Elite reads it.
Visitors to NIGA 08 will also be impressed by another new Ardac Elite feature: the display on a PDA of a full-color image of the last-note inserted. Now, disputes can be resolved in seconds, with no need to access the cashbox: all floor staff need do is connect a PDA to the USB socket on the front of the Ardac Elite for instant proof of what note was inserted last. Alternatively, in an SBG scenario, the image could be displayed directly on the machine screen.
If you don’t get to see the Ardac Elite in action in San Diego, contact your local sales representative who will be happy to demonstrate Ardac Elite’s unique capabilities.
