Casino Madrid selects the Epic 950 for Ticket In, Ticket Out OperationsCasino
Madrid, the largest and most prestigious casino in Spain is creating a stir in
Europe with their modern, exciting and progressive casino hall.
The
casino, which is over 20 years old and employs in the region of 1000
staff, has over 330 slot machines, 20 high level roulette tables, Black Jack
tables and an exclusive Poker area which hosts a further 20 tables and a VIP
lounge. With their date to roll out TITO just a few weeks away - Casino Madrid
is showing the rest of Europe the path to success.
Eurocoin
has been working very closely with Casino Madrid for the past year to support
them in their project to install TITO throughout their casino floor. Mathias
Reindl, Sales Manager for Eurocoin Espana commented “We are proud and delighted
that Gran Casino Madrid has selected Epic 950 exclusively for its TITO
operations. We worked very closely with the casino to provide technical advice
and support through their entire product evaluation process. Epic 950 was the
clear choice for the client”
Crucial
to the decision was TransAct’s Gary Parkin who provided exceptional technical
liaison skills, in terms of integration and support for manufacturers. Gary
commented “With the full support and backing of the casino, we were able to
complete all the testing and approvals required by the Spanish gaming
authorities. It has been a long process but we have built an excellent
relationship with the Gran Casino Madrid team and we are all happy with the
outcome of our hard work”
Diana
Cobaleda, slot manager for Casino Madrid, also commented on the new agreement
with Eurocoin “ I am very happy to be working with Eurocoin, they have ironed
out any technical issues and worked very closely with all our existing
suppliers to ensure that as well as any integration issues, all legalities were
perfectly sorted for us. In all they have made our decision to go TITO an easy
one and we look forward to having a close relationship with them in the future”
Eurocoin
are currently implementing their training programme for the Epic 950 across all
the operator staff, in anticipation of the go-live date early in 2011
