Epic 950 Printer Successes in Italy on show at ENADAEurocoin Ltd. has
announced they will be demonstrating the market leading TransAct Epic 950® with
ServerportTM facility at ENADA, March
17-20 in Rimini, Italy.
The Epic 950® Thermal Slot
Machine Ticket Printer, distributed exclusively in Europe and Africa by
Eurocoin will be on display at the Gruppo Azkoyen stand 010, in Hall A4.
“Epic 950 has already made a
significant impact in the Italian gaming market” commented Eurocoin Sales
Director Colin Veitch “Manufacturers and operators alike recognize the many
service and performance advantages offered by Epic over other printer
solutions. We are delighted that major businesses like Spielo and Inspired
Gaming have chosen Epic 950 exclusively for their VLT operations in Italy”
The Epic
950®, available with USB or RS232 connection meets and exceed all the
requirements for a full Ticket In, Ticket Out (TITO) solution and is approved
for use in all the major gaming machine manufacturers' slot machines, including
Spielo, IGT, WMS Gaming, Aristocrat, AGI/Novomatic, Inspired Gaming Group,
Atronic, Bally, Astro Corp and many more. It is the gaming operator’s preferred
choice and has enjoyed enormous success in European gaming and VLT markets. Significantly,
the Epic 950® can be quickly disconnected and swapped with another printer
while the game power is still on which minimises any time lost while machines
re-boot.
“The Italian VLT operators
are looking very closely at their long-term cost of ownership and operation”
explained Gary Parkin, European Product Support Manager for TransAct. “Epic 950
is highly reliable in both casino and VLT operations, and is the most
user-friendly and versatile printer for the engineers and floor attendants
responsible for ticket refills and service. Minimising machine downtime is a
major feature of Epic, and one that operators value very highly”
The enviable
ServerportTM facility, allows real time connectivity to a marketing server,
opening fantastic opportunities for customised marketing using the printers and
bar-coded slot tickets. It brings an entirely new dimension to the Epic 950®
printer allowing the casino or VLT network operator to send marketing messages
& bonus coupons to the player that print while they are actually playing
the machine. The printer can still print winning payout tickets whenever the
player chooses to push the 'Cash Out' button.
“We look forward to
welcoming our clients and visitors to ENADA on 17-20th March”
concluded Veitch. “Our full range of Epic printing solutions will be on stand
010 to demonstrate, plus will be in many of the machines being presented across
the exhibition floor!”
