Eurocoin
2nd Quarter sales rose more than 20% versus the same period in 2015, as the
Directors announced a company record sales total in the months of April-June
2016. Whilst many of the company’s Divisions contributed to this outstanding
result, there is little doubt that the creation of the Eurocoin Central
European production & assembly hub in Budapest has been a key investment
that has underpinned this significant growth.
“Our involvement in Budapest dates back to 1993,
when we first opened our sales and service office in Hungary at the time of the
law change, which enabled AWP operations” explained Eurocoin Director, Colin
Veitch. “We have maintained & expanded our corporate presence here in
Budapest, and across the Central European region, giving us an unrivalled
footprint of offices, service centres and hard-working team members both here
and in the surrounding countries. This local support, combined with our
specialist European commercial team’s activities, has been welcomed by both
manufacturers and machine operators, and we are grateful for their support and
encouragement”.
Managed directly by Purchasing & Production
Director, Richard Langston, the Budapest warehouse and production centre
already receives more than 70% of all Eurocoin inbound stock and raw material
shipments from around the world. The well-trained assembly team at the facility
ensure that client orders are processed quickly and efficiently, and to the
highest quality standards. “We assemble, final test and ship enormous
quantities of world-class technical components from the Budapest hub, built to
individual customer specifications. These include our wide range of PCT multi-touch displays, thermal printers, and bill acceptors” confirmed Langston “We’re very pleased with
the results of this major initiative over the past few years, which has totally
complimented the production & distribution work we do from our other
warehouse and production centres in Rotterdam and the UK”.
The advantages to European customers are clear.
Eurocoin’s Budapest location has an enviable location at the very centre of
regional gaming manufacturing and operating. Prague, Vienna, Belgrade,
Bratislava & Ljubljana are all no more than a few hours away by road,
meaning that rapid deliveries are achieved, plus after-sales and technical
support is on-hand for clients.
Further regional expansion is already in the
pipeline, confirmed Veitch, as the company roll-out the next stage of their
European investment “We are delighted with the results being achieved by our
commercial teams across Europe. We are receiving great support from both our
clients and our supply-chain partners, all of whom see the genuine value of
locating Eurocoin stock and the production process closer to our regional customers’
facilities. We will be announcing additional investment for growth here in
Central Europe in the coming weeks”
